Bright Greetings - St. Agnes Sun-catcher card, Patron Saint

St. Agnes is a patron saint of gardeners, girls, chastity, Girl Scouts, couples that are engaged and victims of rape. She is one of the “virgin martyrs” of the church of Rome. She is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church, Oriental Orthodox Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church, as well as the Anglican Communion and Lutheran Churches. Her feastday is January 21.
