The Fruits of the Rosary, or Virtues of the Rosary, date back to St. Louis de Montfort's book, The Secret of the Rosary, written in the 1700s. He described the fruits of the Rosary as a way to ask for particular virtues or graces for each mystery while praying the Rosary.
