A Dominican friar, philosopher, theologian, priest, and Doctor of the Church, Thomas Aquinas left his mark on how we understand the faith. Known for his prolific philosophical writings, he is the patron saint of students and universities. His feast day is January 28th. “Grant me, O Lord my God, a mind to know you, a heart to seek you, wisdom to find you, conduct pleasing to you, faithful perseverance in waiting for you, and a hope of finally embracing you. Amen.” Thomas Aquinas
