After Our Lord appeared to St. Maria Faustina, she had the well-known Divine Mercy painting of Him and His sacred heart. “Jesus, I trust in you!” The pale ray represents the water which makes souls righteous, and the red ray represents the blood which is the life of souls. The Divine Mercy Chaplet, based on the format of the rosary and the visions of St. Faustina, is a beautiful and simple prayer with great rewards promised by Christ. St. Faustina’s feast day is October 5th.
